Aegina presents geomorphological variety, with fertile plains, shallow hills, pine covered mountains with its highest peak at 531 meters. On the island of Aegina, there are rare wildflowers, thrive and lentisk, thyme, oregano, sage and other aromatic and medicinal herbs.
The soil of the area, with the appropriate advanced techniques, can produce few cereals, vegetables, olive oil, grapes and wine, has fig trees, almond trees but mainly pistachio trees.
The island in its perimeter is composed of many small bays and windy coves with crystal clear waters, in some of which the pine trees reach the sea.
The flora of the island consists of holm-oak trees, olive trees, cypresses, brushwood and bushes. The fauna of the island consists of hares, foxes, dabgers and different kinds of birds. The climate of the island is dry, mild in the winter and cool in the summer.
